Santa's Key

This is a very cute project that we did at my friend Debbie's house.  I'm not sure where she found it but I am going to share our version here.

This was so easy to make.  I used the largest Scallop Cirlce from my Nestibilities to cut the card part.  The card measures 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" folded in half like a regular card.  I cut a piece of black cardstock 1" x 5 1/2" and glued to the front of the folded card towards the lower part of the card.  I then laid it on top of my nestibility leaving about 3 scallops above the paper (that way the card fold does not cut).  I ran this through my Big Shot.  I punched a gold glitter cardstock square from the blue Clever Lever square punch.  I glued this over the black belt for a buckle.  I cut a 1" x 1" square of black cardstock and centered onto the beld buckle.  I used a Stampin' Up tag punch for the gold glitter ornament hanger.  I glued it to the front and back of the cardstock and then punched a hole with the large end of my crop a dile.  I threaded a 9" piece of ribbon through the hole and tied a knot.  The saying "Santa's Magic Key" was typed on my computer and punched with a Stampin" Up tag punch.  The Santa's Magic Key poem was also typed on the computer and then punched with the big green Clever Lever scalloped circle punch.  The key is from Martha Stewart and comes with sticky foam on the back so you just have to press it onto the cardstock.  What a cute idea to give to kids to hang on their front door for Santa.
I hope you enjoy it!!!!
